Easter Wagashi

I didn’t have an Easter egg this year, my Easter treat was from @minamoto_london.
A Suikanshuku. This hoshigaki, a dried persimmon which has been peeled and hung on strings and massaged for several months to make the flesh tender like gummy candy and then stuffed with bean paste is a wagashi of true decadence being £8.00 each .
I love to go to minamoto Kitchoan when I’m in London. Walking in there really takes you back to sweet shops in Japan it’s like I’m almost back there. They do not have many vegan options but they have a few . The first time I actually went in this place was in San Francisco, they have a few shops dotted around the world Tokyo, New York, SanFrancisco, Los Angeles, London and Singapore . Bringing seasonal Japanese wagashi .
